Vaginoplasty

Vaginal laxity is a condition that may be caused by aging and childbirth and may result in sexual problems between couples. This can be fixed by vaginoplasty which is designed to tighten the vagina. Tissues with laxity are tightened during the procedure for desired tightness.

Vaginoplasty is performed under local anesthesia with intravenous sedation or general anesthesia and generally does not require hospitalization. Daily activities can be resumed in 1-2 days following surgery, but it is necessary to refrain from intercourse for 4 weeks.
