Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty, also known as the nose job, is the reshaping of the nose. The main aim of rhinoplasty is to achieve a natural look that fits the facial contours by respecting the golden ratio of the face. If there is a functional breathing problem, this can also be fixed during rhinoplasty surgery.

The nose is an organ that is right in the middle of the face and thus, draws all the attention. Therefore, it has a special significance among all plastic surgeries. The physician must analyze your expectations and how realistic they are accurately before the operation. Accurate analysis must be supported with a comprehensive physical examination and simulation system. The patient should clearly be informed about what can be done and only then the surgical decision should be made.

Rhinoplasty is planned with the aim to achieve a result whereby the patient breathes easily; the nose looks natural and stays within natural margins. Following the provision of comprehensive information and thorough physical examination before surgery, you are given the before/after photographs and your 3D image created by the Crisalix simulation system.

Duration of surgery is 1 to 3 hours under anesthesia. Thanks to developing surgical techniques, patients do not suffer from severe swelling and bruising as is the main concern. When necessary, silicon packing, which does not block breathing, is placed in your nose whereas in certain cases one does not need packing at all. Based on the procedure performed, you are either discharged from the hospital on the same day or spend the night at the hospital. The splint on your nose is removed 6-7 days after your surgery and you see the result of the operation. You can see the general changes right after the removal of the splint, but you will be able to see the final look in 6 months to 1 year depending on the surgical technique, your skin type and recovery potential.
