Mesotherapy is a microinjection technique that is used to rejuvenate and tighten the skin that is affected from sun and environmental factors.
Mesotherapy aims to replenish losses that occur in the skin in time and nutrients that support the skin. To this end, nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, amino acids and hyaluronic acid can be injected alone or as a mesotherapy cocktail. Microinjection techniques which are used to deliver these nutrients to the skin can also be used in combination with dermapen, PRP and golden needle. The main goal is to increase circulation in the skin, support collagen synthesis and replenish reduced or lost tissue by microinjections.
It is mostly applied to the face, neck and cleavage. It is used to improve dull, tired looking skin and have a healthy appearance again, to treat wrinkles, thinning and loss of elasticity of the skin, to improve sagging and treat hyperpigmentation. Loss of hair or thinning hair also benefit from mesotherapy. Other areas where mesotherapy is used are back of the hand, stretch marks and cellulitis.
Mesotherapy is performed in the clinical setting following the application of a topical anesthetic ointment. It is performed in several sessions at any season and daily activities can be resumed immediately following treatment.
