Fat Injection

Fat injection is widely used in plastic surgery. In addition to providing volume at the injection site, it creates additional healing thanks to the cells it contains.

Although fat is injected mostly to the facial area, it is preferred for other areas of the body where there is loss of volume. The reduction in the fat compartments of the facial area results in sagging and loss of fullness. Such problems are fixed by fat injections and patients get a glowing skin thanks to the cells transferred.

Liposuction is used to extract fat from donor sites which are richer in fat (i.e. abdomen, buttocks). The suctioned fat goes through special processes and is transferred to relevant sites.

Fat injections are performed under local anesthesia, local anesthesia with intravenous sedation or general anesthesia. It is possible to see swelling and bruising at the transfer site. Patients can resume their daily activities within 2-7 days depending on the intensity of the application.
